Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – There was exciting news from the Juneau Downtown Business Association on Action Line today (Friday) regarding its effort to become an accredited Main Street America downtown.
DBA President Jill Ramiel and Dana Herndon, the Juneau Economic Development Council’s liaison to DBA were on the program. Ramiel said, “We are very close to becoming Alaska’s first accredited city..” Herndon added, “It kind of opens us up to more funding opportunities and grants and I think just makes us more credible.”
